DELHI TOWNSHIP, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's soccer team ended their match against Mt. St. Joseph in a 1-1 draw. The Quakers scored almost immediately with a goal by Elizabeth Matthews, her second of the season, Jordan Snyder is credited with the assist.

45 Fall Student-Athletes Earn Academic All-OAC Honors
Academic All-Conference selections have at least a cumulative 3.5 grade-point average (GPA) at the end of the semester preceding the end of the spring season and be a sophomore academically or above. The student-athlete must also be a member of a varsity team, in a sport sponsored by the league, as well as be enrolled in a full-time capacity.

Kiwanis Club of Wilmington Honors 2022 Fall Student-Athletes
Kiwanis is an international service organization dedicated to helping kids locally and around the world. The Wilmington club has been actively helping kids for 40 years and the international group has been working for 100-plus years. Wilmington Kiwanis sponsors the East Clinton, Clinton-Massie and Wilmington Key Clubs. It also sponsors two soccer tournaments at Wilmington College, awards a $1,000 scholarship to a student at Wilmington College or Southern State along with many other things.

Steve Spirk Retires as Head Women's Soccer Coach
The longest-tenured coach in program history, Spirk carried a 329-197-45 (.616 winning percentage) overall record and retires as one of 50 NCAA Division III women’s soccer coaches to win 300 career games. AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC), the league Wilmington College has participated in collegiate athletics since the turn of the century, announced on Friday its plans to postpone all intercollegiate athletic competition through the calendar year due to safety concerns amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The conference is committed to collaboration in 2021 to allow the affected sports to compete safely in 2021.

Steve Spirk nets 300th career coaching win, November 2, 2017
As the final seconds ticked off the clock last week in the Wilmington College women’s soccer team’s 1-0 decision over Muskingum, a conspiracy quickly unfolded as several seniors grabbed the iconic orange Gatorade bucket and moved in the direction of Steve Spirk. The victory not only marked a late-season win over an Ohio Athletic Conference rival, but it was Spirk’s 300th victory as the Fightin’ Quakers’ head coach. It marked a significant milestone for both the coach and program that have been part of conference championships, NCAA Tournaments, and prominence in NCAA Division III soccer. The 300th win evoked memories of players, matches, training sessions and all that has gone into building one of the most solid small college programs in Ohio since he took over as head coach in 1992.

Heidelberg outlasts Wilmington, 1-0
The Wilmington College women’s soccer team competed in their last match of the 2017 regular season Saturday afternoon. Throughout the course of the 90-minute match, the Fightin’ Quakers were able to tally a total of 18 shots--to Heidelberg’s seven--12 of which were on goal. Only six of the 18 shots were taken during the first half, the remaining 12 in the second-half. Despite this second half surge in shots taken, the Fightin’ Quakers were unable to best Heidelberg and lost 1-0.

Women's soccer erupt for 10 goals
Eight different Lady Quakers scored as the Wilmington College women’s soccer team improved to 4-0 on the season with a 10-0 victory over Anderson at the Raven/Spartan Classic Friday. It was the most goals scored in a game since the 2003 season opener against Waynesburg.

Elson's goal lifts women's soccer
Freshman Liz Elson’s goal in the 69th minute lifted the Wilmington College women’s soccer team to the 1-0 victory Wednesday over Wittenberg at Williams Stadium. The game was moved to the turf field at Williams Stadium due to inclement weather.
