2023 Women's Soccer Season One Month Away

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's soccer team anxiously awaiting its 2023 campaign, which begins one month from today, August 1.

Wilmington, which finished the 2022 season 10-8-0 overall and narrowly missed the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament with a 4-5-0 league mark, open the season at rival Earlham College on Sept. 1 before hosting Bethany College (West Virginia) and Franklin College at Williams Stadium on Sept. 3 & 6 respectively. Trips to Oberlin College (Sept. 9) and Manchester University (Sept. 13) follow before the Quakers return home to face Maryvilly University (Tennessee) for a 5 p.m. kickoff on Sept. 16. 

The conference slate begins with a trip to John Carroll University on Sept. 30, but is followed by 3-of-4 home games to open the month of October. The Quakers will host the OAC's Columbus-based institutions - Capital University & Otterbein University - on Oct. 4 & OCt. 11 respectively with a road game at Baldwin Wallace University in between on Saturday, Oct. 7. The final home game of the three is Marietta College on Oct. 14.

Three of Wilmington's final four regular season games are on the road with a Senior Night contest against the University of Mount Union (Oct. 21) being the only home game. The Quakers will travel to Ohio Northern University on Oct. 18, Muskingum University on Oct. 25 and Heidelberg University for the regular season finale on Oct. 28. The OAC Tournament, which features the top six teams, will be played the week of Oct. 30-Nov. 6.
