(ADA, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's soccer team fell to the Ohio Northern Polar Bears Tuesday night, 1-0, on the road in a snowy contest. This game was part of the First Round of the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament. The Quakers were making their first appearance in the tournament since the COVID-19 spring 2021 season. This was second-year head coach Nick Kinder's first appearance in the tournament.

The Quakers took the first shot of the contest, a fourth-minute shot on goal from sophomore Alex Wilson. The Polar Bears would follow up with a shot in the 13th minute before tallying the lone goal of the game in the 14th minute. The goal came from Ohio Northern's Alyssa Beckett, off an assist from Emma Bowman. The Quakers would take four more shots throughout the remainder of the first half, with three coming from sophomore Jada Pohlen, and one being on goal.

Wilmington had two shots in the final half, including a shot on goal from senior Elizabeth Matthews in the 89th minute. The shot came after a throw into the box, where Matthews came away with it, but unfortunately couldn't get a good shot off, so it was an easy save for the Polar Bears.
