Huffman and Galloway Named to All-OAC Tournament Team

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Sophomores Taylor Huffman and Lauren Galloway represented the Wilmington College women's soccer contingent on the All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament team, released shortly after the tournament's conclusion on Sunday.

Huffman, once named the OAC Offensive Player of the Week this season, led the Fightin' Quakers offensively with five goals, three assists and 13 total points. Huffman assisted on Wilmington's game-winning goal in an 1-0 OAC Tournament quarterfinal victory over Baldwin Wallace University and scored Wilmington's goal in the semifinal loss at eventual champion Otterbein University.

Galloway played nearly 1,000 minutes in net for the Quakers, making 80 total saves and being a part of four shutouts. The Beavercreek High School alumna made 24 saves in the two OAC Tournament contests.

Wilmington finished its 2021 spring season with a 5-4-2 overall record and a fourth-place finish in the league. The Quakers hosted and won an OAC Tournament game and advanced to the tournament semifinals for the first time in over a decade.
