Quakers Women's Soccer Bested By Baldwin Wallace Saturday

(BEREA, Ohio) - The Wilmington College women's soccer team fell on the road to Baldwin Wallace University Saturday afternoon, 3-0. They are now 7-4-1 overall and 0-3 in the Ohio Athletic Conference.

The Quakers took four shots, with one on goal, during the first 10:07 of the contest. The Yellow Jackets scored their first goal in the 29th minute. Wilmington took four more shots, with three on goal, before Baldwin Wallace netted their second goal in the 41st minute. They took that 2-0 lead into the half.

The Yellow Jackets scored their final goal in the 51st minute. The Quakers had three shots on goal in the second half.

  • Wilmington had 15 shots to the Yellow Jackets 14, and had one less shot on goal than Baldwin Wallace (8-7).
