(TIFFIN, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's soccer team earned a spot in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) tournament today with a 1-0 win over the Heidelberg University Student Princes on the road.

Like their game on Wednesday at Muskingum University, the Quakers were taking shots early and often against the Student Princes, but just couldn't put anything into the back of the net. Sophomore Alex Wilson put two shots on goal in the first half, but they were both saved. Wilmington took 11 total shots in the first 45 minutes of play.

The Quakers broke through in the 56th minute, where Wilson passed it to Katie Bradford just inside the box before she chipped it in to a diving MJ Little, who headed it into the back of the net for the 1-0 lead. The Quakers put four more shots on goal in the half but would ultimately come away with the 1-0 win. They had 10 total shots in the second half.
