WILMINGTON, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University (BW) scored the game's only goal in the 77th minute in a 1-0 victory over the Wilmington College women's soccer team in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) action on Saturday evening.

Rachel Bender found Morgan Gray on a corner kick for the game's only goal. The Fightin' Quakers outshot the Yellow Jackets 10-5 in the contest including a 7-4 margin in shots on goal, but failed to score a goal for the fifth consecutive contest.

Emma Bruno made seven saves and earned the win for BW while Leda Moyer saved 3-of-4 shots in the loss. A trio of Quakers – Taylor Leake, Hanna Greaney and Tiffany Hayes – all fired two shots while Bender took two of the Yellow Jackets' shots.

Both teams had to deal with a blistering wind and cold conditions during the entire game.

The loss dips Wilmington to 8-7-0 overall and 2-5-0 in OAC play while BW improves to 10-5-1 and 4-3-0 in the league.

The Quakers return to action at Capital University on Wednesday, Oct. 24.
