Two Wilmington College women's soccer players earned All-Ohio honors, the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association announced today (January 8, 2014).
Senior Rachel Gutowski (Petoskey, MI/Petoskey) and junior Camille Gentile (Brownsburg, IN/Brownsburg) earned third team honors.
"We are very excited that Rachel Gutowski and Camille Gentile have received this honor," said Wilmington head coach Steve Spirk. "For Rachel it is a great way to cap off her senior year and her career at Wilmington College. She has been a great player and strong captain. She will be hard to replace. For Camille, she had a very strong season in the midfield and also helped lead our team as captain. I believe it is a sign of "big" things to come for Camille and our program."
Petoskey, a four-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection, led the team with five assists while spearheading the team's solid defense. Gentile was a second-team All-OAC selection this season. She scored three goals, two of which were of the game-winning variety.
Wilmington finished the season 11-7, and missed the OAC tournament by losing the tiebreaker to Mount Union.
