Wilmington had a few shots on goal, but their best look came in the 63rd minute where sophomore Jada Pohlen sent a beautiful shot off her left foot to the top of the net, but Cardinals keeper Ella Scwertfager jumped up to make a great save and keep Wilmington off the board. The Cardinals began to take over the second half and eventually came through with the game-winner in the 85th minute from Morgan Somers off a double assist from Payton Kaufman and Anjuli Anderson.
