DAYTON, Ohio - Former Wilmington College women's soccer player and current assistant coach Mellonee Hall has joined the Dayton Dutch Lions Football Club as a defender, the club announced earlier this week.
A native of Beavercreek, Ohio, Hall aided Head Coach Steve Sprik in guiding the Fightin' Quakers to a 9-8-1 overall record and a trip to the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament for the first time in four seasons. Additionally, Hall mentored the WC defense to six shutouts and a goals against average of under 1.10.
Hall earned Second Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) and Third Team All-Ohio honors in 2018 after starting all 18 games as a stalwart of the Fightin' Quakers' back line.
She started 73 games in her career.
