Michael Pagano Named New Director of Athletic CommunicationsSeptember 25, 2023WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College athletic department announced today that Michael Pagano has been named their new Director of Athletic Communications. “We are excited to have Michael join the Wilmington College family as our new Director of Athletic Communications” said Senior Director of Athletics Bill Wilson. “He brings with him experience and skills that will elevate our ability to tell the stories of our student-athletes, coaches, and programs. He will be a great addition to our athletics leadership team.”

WC's Blankespoor Named CSC Academic All-America Committee ChairJune 21, 2023Blankespoor, who beings a four-year appointment as chair, joined the committee in 2015 and moved into the operations coordinator position prior to the 2019-20 academic year. He has been in the vice chair roll for the last two years, assisting outgoing chair Kevin Lanke with program duties.

Tristen Durr Named Head Track & Field and Assistant Cross Country CoachJune 19, 2023Durr, who has been an assistant coach for the last four seasons, takes the reins from Head Coach Ron Combs, who has been the College's head track & field coach for a quarter century. Combs won't be going far, however, as he will remain head cross country coach and transition to assistant track & field coach.

Thirty-Three Spring Student-Athletes Earn Academic All-OAC HonorsJune 01, 2023Academic All-Conference selections have at least a cumulative 3.5 grade-point average (GPA) at the end of the semester preceding the end of the spring season and be a sophomore academically or above. The student-athlete must also be a member of a varsity team, in a sport sponsored by the league, as well as be enrolled in a full-time capacity.
