HEAT SHEETS - THURSDAY | FRIDAY

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's track & field team will send individuals to the Carius/Gregory Invitational hosted by North Central College on Thursday & Friday.

The Schedule: Field events are slated to begin at 11 a.m. each day with track events scheduled for a 5 p.m. start on Thursday and a 4:30 p.m. start on Friday.

The Coach: Ron Combs is in his 25th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

Who to Watch (Field Events): Three Quakers - Andrew Pacifico, Nate Marcum and Nathan Borgan - will look to improve their marks in the nammer throw while Brett Brooks will throw in the discus and the shot put. Teammates Mike Soltis and Justin Shuga will join Brooks in the shot put event. Brady Vilvens will round out the WC field event participants by looking to improve upon his top-20 national mark in the high jump.

Who to Watch (Track Events): Noah Tobin (3,000-meter steeplechase) and Simon Heys (1,500-meter run) are scheduled to compete on Thursday and Friday evening, respectively.
