WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's track & field team starts off the new year close to home at MSJ University. The MSJ Invitational will take place at the Centennial Fieldhouse as the Quakers enter the day ranked fourth in the OAC preseason coaches poll.      

The Schedule: The fieldhouse opens at 9:30 AM, with men's weight throw and the 5,000-meter run shooting off at 11:00 AM with women's events to follow. 

The Competition: The Quakers will face off against a small field of Division III teams.

The Coach: Ron Combs enters his 25th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

Who to Watch: Brady Vilvens will compete in high jump and triple jump after a successful freshman campaign last track season. Noah Tobin and Simon Heys will lead the way in distance events for the squad while the infamous throws squad returns JJ Durr, Nathan Marcum, Justin Shuga, Andrew Pacifico and Nathan Borgan
