WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's track & field team enters the third meet of the season coming off of a first place finish last weekend. The Quakers head to Wittenberg University for the annual Steemer Showcase.     

The Schedule: Field events begin at 11:00 AM with running events shooting off at noon.

The Competition: The Quakers will go head-to-head against a plethora of Division III teams. 

The Coach: Ron Combs enters his 25th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

Who to Watch: The throw squad came up big last weekend, finishing 1-5 in the weight throw, and will be led by JJ Durr and Nathan Borgan. Brayden Jones won pole vault at the MSJ meet and will continue the good streak for the Quakers. Rounding off the day of events will be Eric Reynolds in the middle distance races and Tate Yoder leading the distance group.

Up Next: The Quakers take a week off before heading to Springfield, OH for the Indoor All-Ohio meet on February 11th.
