Men's Track & Field Takes on All-Ohio Outdoor Championships

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's track & field team enters into All-Ohio week ranked 20th in the nation as a team. The Quakers will be traveling to Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday. 

The Schedule: Both field events and running events begin at 11:00 AM with hammer throw and the 10,000-meter run leading things off. 

The Competition: The Quakers will be joined by Division III schools from around Ohio. 

The Coach: Ron Combs enters his 25th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

Who to Watch: Noah Tobin will lead the running side of things as the top seed in the 5,000-meter run. The throw squad of JJ Durr, Andrew Pacifico, Nathan Borgan and Nathan Marcum are all in the top flight in the hammer throw.
