WILMINGTON, Ohio - Wilmington College is pleased to announce the addition of a new position - Head Track & Field and Assistant Cross Country Coach - to its department of athletics.
Ron Combs, Class of 1993, will remain as Head Cross Country Coach and transition to Assistant Track & Field Coach after completing his 25th year as head coach at the end of the month.
"I'm excited for our program moving forward as adding this position provides the potential for us to build more depth," said Combs. "I hope to continue the momentum we have had in recent seasons with cross country, and hopefully, build teams that consistently improve in the Ohio Athletic Conference and Great Lakes Region with larger squads."
