WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's basketball takes to Hermann Court for the final time during the 2019 calendar year on Saturday when the University of Mount Union comes to town for a 3 p.m. Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) contest.

The Teams: Wilmington and Mount Union. The Quakers are 4-3 overall and 1-1 in OAC play after falling to Ohio Northern University 72-64 on Wednesday, The Purple Raiders are 5-3 overall, but winless in conference competition after also falling victim to the Polar Bears, 58-57 on the road last Saturday.

The Coaches: Jerry Scheve is in his 30th season as head coach of the Wilmington women's basketball program. Scheve, who guided the Quakers to the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2004, has amassed over 500 career victories. Suzy Venet, a former All-American at Mount Union, is in her 15th season as head coach at her alma mater. She has guided the Purple Raiders to four NCAA Division III Tournament appearances.

The Players: Wilmington features a balanced scoring attack as four players – McKayla Binkley, Hannah Binkley, Kennedy Lewis and Kelly Noll – all score in double figures. McKayla Binkley leads the team in scoring at 17.9 points per game while Noll grabs a team-best 6.3 rebounds per game. Zahrya Bailey and Lewis combine to dish out 7.3 assists per 40 minutes. Tori Rappach and Elena Rauhe lead Mount Union in the scoring department at 14.3 and 13.9 points per game respectively. Sarah Hessel grabs 8.5 rebounds per 40 minutes for the Purple Raiders.

Tops in the OAC: McKayla Binkley leads the OAC in scoring at 17.9 points per game. She's also the reigning OAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

Scoring Offense: The Quakers entered the week as the second-highest scoring offense in NCAA Division III at 87.8 points per game.
