WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's basketball looks to snap a 13-game losing streak to Ohio Northern University on Wednesday when the Quakers and Polar Bears are set to battle at Red Raizk Arena at 7 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Ohio Northern (ONU). The Quakers enter the game 4-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play after a 99-65 blowout win at Heidelberg University on Saturday. The Polar Bears are a perfect 5-0 after opening OAC play with a come-from-behind, 58-57 win over the University of Mount Union.

The Coaches: Jerry Scheve is in his 30th season as head coach of the Wilmington women's basketball program. Scheve, who guided the Quakers to the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2004, has amassed over 500 career victories. Michele Durand has been Ohio Northern's coach for 19 seasons. She's announced this is her final year at the helm of the Polar Bears.

The Players: McKayla Binkley leads Wilmington in scoring at 18.5 points per game and is second on the squad in rebounding (5.8 boards per contest). A trio of Quakers – Hannah Binkley, Kennedy Lewis and Kelly Noll – all score between 11-13 points per game. Noll is the team's top rebounder, averaging 6.7 rebounds a game while Lewis and Zahrya Bailey combine to dish out 7.3 assists per contest. Emily Mescher leads the Polar Bears in scoring (13.2 points per game) and rebounding (5.8 boards per contest). Abby Weeks also scores in double figures for ONU.

Tops in the OAC: McKayla Binkley leads the OAC in scoring at 18.5 points per game. She's also the reigning OAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

Scoring Offense: The Quakers are currently fifth in the country in scoring.
