WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's basketball will play at Hermann Court for the first time in 2020 on Saturday against John Carroll University. The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) contest is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and John Carroll (JCU). The Quakers are 7-5 on the season and 3-2 in OAC play after falling 81-75 at Capital University on Wednesday. The Blue Streaks are 10-2 overall and 4-1 in conference competition after dispatching Otterbein University 60-52 on Wednesday.

The Coaches: Jerry Scheve is in his 30th season as head coach of the Wilmington women's basketball program. Scheve, who guided the Quakers to the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2004, has amassed over 500 career victories. Kelly Morrone, a former student-athlete at the University of South Carolina, is in her seventh season as JCU's head coach. Last year, Morrone guided the Blue Streaks to an OAC championship.

The Players: A trio of Quakers – McKayla Binkley, Hannah Binkley and Kennedy Lewis – all score in double figures including McKayla Binkley's 17.4 points per game on over 53 percent shooting from the field. She's also the team's leading rebounder at 7.4 boards per contest. Lewis, who scores 11.4 points per game, combines with Zahrya Bailey to dish out six assists per game. Additionally, both Michelle Lee and Kelly Noll score nearly nine points per game. JCU also has three individuals – Olivia Nagy, Nicole Heffington and Sarah Sprecher – that score in double figures. Olivia Nagy, who leads the team at 16.0 points per game, nearly averages a double-double as the sophomore grabs 9.2 rebounds per contest.

Tale of the Tape: Points per game – Wilmington 83.5, JCU 71.8; opponents' points per game – Wilmington 72.7, JCU 50.0; field goal percentage – Wilmington 43.5, JCU 43.7; three-point percentage – Wilmington 34.0, JCU 29.3; free throw percentage – Wilmington 72.0, JCU 61.8; rebounds per game – Wilmington 40.7, JCU 46.0; assist-to-turnover ratio – Wilmington 0.89, JCU 1.00.

Tops in the OAC: McKayla Binkley leads the OAC in scoring at 17.4 points per game.

Scoring Offense: The Quakers are fifth in NCAA Division III in scoring offense at 84.2 points per game.
