BW is also under the direction of first-year head coach in Kacie Ehinger. She, like Riesenberg, has experience at the NCAA Division I level having spent the previous four years as the University of Akron's top assistant.

The Players: Wilmington offensively relies on the duo of Jillian Wesco (156 kills) and Taylor McCuistion (146 kills) as the two have combined for over 54 percent of the team's kills. Setter Summer Wilbur averaged 5.80 assists per set while Karley Schlensker averages 5.13 digs per set in the back row, good for second-best in the OAC. Mariella Szrom is the squad's leading blocker with 36 on the year. BW features a balanced scoring attack as five Yellow Jackets average over two kills per set. Kathleen Egan dishes out 9.96 assists per set while Sarah Reinhard tallies 4.93 digs per set.
