WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College volleyball team continues Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play by hosting No. 11 Ohio Northern University for a 7 p.m. contest on Tuesday.

The Teams: Wilmington and Ohio Northern (ONU). The Fightin' Quakers are 3-18 overall and 0-3 in OAC competition after a three-set loss at the University of Mount Union on Saturday. The Polar Bears are 18-4 overall and 3-0 in OAC play. ONU most recently finished the Trinity University (Texas) Invitational of a 3-1 record.

The Coaches: A new era of Wilmington volleyball has arrived as Andy Riesenberg, an experienced coach at the NCAA Division I, II, III and club levels, enters his first season leading the program in 2019. The Mount St. Joseph University alumnus has spent time at Southern Illinois University, Xavier University and Ohio University as an assistant coach as well as a stint as head coach at NCAA Division II institution Lake Erie College. Kate Witte, who recently announced her retirement following the season, is in her 29th year as ONU's head coach.

The Players: Jillian Wesco lead the Wilmington attack with 148 kills for an average of 2.24 per set. Taylor McCuistion, who has nearly 200 digs along with Wesco, has over 125 kills as well. Mariella Szrom leads the squad in attack percentage at a .168 clip. Summer Wilbur averages over six assists per set while libero Karley Schlensker digs up over five balls per set. Ohio Northern has six Polar Bears who tally over two kills per set while Chelsea Hubbert leads the way at 3.18 kills per set and a .366 attack percentage. Setter Kate Wade dishes out 10 assists per set while McKenna Hostetler leads the team and league in digs per set at 5.76.

OAC Statistics: Karley Schlensker is second in the OAC in digs per set at 5.24.
