UNITED SOCCER COACHES REGION VII POLL

KANSAS CITY, Missouri - The Wilmington College men's soccer team has cracked the regional rankings for the first time this season as the United Soccer Coaches released its weekly poll on Tuesday.

The Fightin' Quakers check in at No. 8 in the Region VII poll after being unranked the previous four. Three other Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) institutions - Ohio Northern University (3rd), John Carroll University (4th) and Otterbein University (6th) - also appear in the poll. Kenyon College, who WC played to a narrow 1-0 defeat at Williams Stadium on Sept. 14, sits atop the poll, which can be seen in its entirety at the link above.

Wilmington (7-4-1, 2-1-0 OAC) hosts Otterbein and Marietta College at home this week on Wednesday and Saturday respectively. Both games are set for 7 p.m. kickoffs.
