WESTERVILLE, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's soccer team has been picked to finish tied for fifth in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC), as the league revealed its annual Preseason Coaches Poll on Tuesday morning.
Defending champion John Carroll University was picked as the conference favorite having won the conference a season ago. Otterbein University and Ohio Northern University followed with only a point difference between the two. Capital University is slated for a fourth-place finish while the Fightin' Quakers share the No. 5 spot with Marietta College. The complete poll is listed below:

The Fightin' Quakers finished the 2021 fall season with a 13-3-3 overall record and a third-place finish in the OAC. For the second consecutive year, WC hosted an OAC Tournament game, but fell to Capital 4-3 in a wild game.
Wilmington opens its 2022 campaign, the first for Head Coach Cory Bucur, against DePauw University on Sept. 1.
