WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Mount Union Purple Raiders are coming to town on Saturday for an Ohio Athletic Conference match against our Fightin' Quaker's men's lacrosse team. First faceoff is set for 1:00.

The Teams: Wilmington and Mount Union. Wilmington (3-9, 0-5) has had its share of offensive woes lately as they battle through a spate of injuries and will look to create more scoring opportunities on Saturday. Mount Union (5-7, 2-3) is on a two game winning streat after they had a rough start to the OAC season losing their first three matches before winning the next two.

The Coaches: Garyck Todd enters his second season as Wilmington's head men's lacrosse coach in 2023. The 2016 WC alumnus was a four-year member of the program and was a part of the team's first winning season (9-7) in 2015. Perella is in his first year as head coach at Mount Union. He was the Offensive Coordinator at Baldwin Wallace previously and coached 2 USILA All-Americans, three All-Region players and was the OAC Regular Season Champion last year.

The Players: Justen Shaw, a senior for the Quakers, has scored 23 goals this season and contributed 9 assists. Garrett Murrell, another Quaker senior, has had several strong outings scoring 19 goals and contributing 10 assists. Logan Gebhart has scored 38 goals and 19 assists for the Purple Raiders.
