WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team will head up to Otterbein University on Wednesday night to take on the Cardinals at 7:00.

The Teams: Wilmington and Otterbein. A Wilmington (3-5, 0-1) victory would give the Quakers their first Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) win of the season, it would also be the programs first victory over the Cardinals. Otterbein (1-7, 0-1) has not been able to get their offense started this season and rank eighth in the conference in goals per game.

The Coaches: Garyck Todd enters his second season as Wilmington's head men's lacrosse coach in 2023. The 2016 WC alumnus was a four-year member of the program and was a part of the team's first winning season (9-7) in 2015. Colin Hartnett begins his 14th season as head men's lacrosse coach at Otterbein in 2023. The Cardinals have gone 118-88 under Hartnett since the school's first season in 2010, including three-straight trips to the NCAA Division III Championships (2013-15) and back-to-back Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament titles in 2014 and 2015. His squad also earned the 2014 OAC regular-season championship, and made the title game in 2016.

The Players: Justen Shaw, Garrett Murrell and Jacob Snyder have all recorded double digit goals scored this season. Shaw and Snyder have each had games with at least nine goals. Nathan Lewis leads the Otterbein attack with 12 goals scored.
