WESTERVILLE, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team was defeated by Otterbein University by a final score of 19-2 in an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) contest on Wednesday evening.

The Cardinals outshot the Quakers 26-13 in the first half and carried a 13-1 advantage into halftime. Wilmington played its best lacrosse of the evening in the fourth quarter as Austin Bondurant scored in the first minute of the fourth quarter. That offensive spark failed to light a fire, however, and the Quakers would ultimately fall to the Cardinals by a final score of 19-2.

Wilmington goalkeeper Cody Everly was credited with eight saves in the match. Austin Bondurant and Garrett Murrell each scored for the Quakers. Aidan Moore scored seven goals and tallied four assists for the Cardinals.

Up next, Wilmington hosts Marietta College at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
