WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team has had a turbulent season concerning weather delays and postponements. On Wednesday the Quakers will make up a previously postponed game against Anderson, the game will be held at neutral site Earlham College at 6:00.

The Teams: Wilmington and Anderson. Wilmington (3-9, 0-5) is on a losing streak entering Wednesdays match, for the Quakers to get back on track they will need to get their offense clicking again to have a chance against Anderson. The Ravens (5-3, 1-0) alternated wins and losses for the initial portion of the season but have since won three straight. Jacob Ashton returns for the 2021-22 season in his fifth year as the Anderson University head men's lacrosse coach and the program's fourth official season. Ashton led the Ravens in their third season to its best finish to date, finishing third in Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) with a 3-8 overall record and a 2-2 conference record. The Ravens captured the first wins in program history in 2021 after topping Mount St. Joseph University and Earlham College in HCLC action.

The Coaches: Garyck Todd enters his second season as Wilmington's head men's lacrosse coach in 2023. The 2016 WC alumnus was a four-year member of the program and was a part of the team's first winning season (9-7) in 2015. 

The Players: Garrett Murrell has shouldered much of the offensive burden scoring 19 goals and registering 10 assists. Cole Whatley has been an offense unto himself with 34 goals and 11 assists for the Ravens.
