Molfenter, Burgmeier and Birch Earn All-OAC Honors

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Three Wilmington College men's soccer players garnered all Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) honors for the 2019 season.

Ian Molfenter led the Fightin' Quakers offense with 11 goals and one assist to earn first team recognition. Molfenter started 18 of 19 games and picked up momentum late in the season with seven goals in conference play.

Zach Burgmeier received second team honors in his first season with the Quakers. Burgmeier started all 19 games for Wilmington and scored nine goals and dished out six assists with two game-winning goals.

Thompson Birch was awarded honorable mention as a defender for the Quakers, the senior started 17 games for Wilmington and recorded nine shots with three on goal. 

Wilmington finished its 2019 campaign 10-7-2 with a mark of 3-5-1 in OAC play.
