FRANKLIN, Indiana - The Wilmington College men's soccer team took a dominant victory over Franklin College on Friday evening.

The Fightin' Quakers improve to 6-1-0 while the Grizzlies fall to 2-6-0.

The Quakers scored again in the 16th and 18th minutes coming from Nati Wallis and Ian Molfenter. Wallis scored a second goal in the 54th minute assisted by Michael Owusu, then in the 59th minute Elorm Dogbey scored his ninth goal of the season and continuing his scoring streak. Two more quick goals came in the 60th minute from Josh Maurer and the 62nd minute from Grant Murray assisted by Burgmeier and Dogbey.

Piyo Debesay scored his first goal of the season when he took a corner kick that curved past the Grizzlies defense and into the goal in the 69th minute. Ian Young scored unassisted in the 73rd minute. The Quakers played tough until the final whistle, scoring two goals in the 89th minute to cap off a successful night. The first was scored by Kevin Kamara and the second was finished by Debesay assisted by Kamara.

Wilmington out shot Franklin 31-5 and lead corner kicks 12-1.
