WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team (2-10, 0-4) fell to Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) frontrunner John Carroll University 29-0 at Williams Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

In honor of senior day, a small ceremony honoring Austin Young and Logan Hayes for their years with the program took place before the contest. The crisp John Carroll University offense got things started quickly by scoring 28 seconds into the first quarter. The Blue Streak offense would go on to score 12 first quarter goals and 13 in the second quarter. Wilmington had one shot on goal in the first half, goalie Cody Everly found an opening and cleared the ball himself. At halftime, the Quakers trailed the Blue Streaks 25-0.

John Carroll would score four more goals in the third quarter and go on to defeat the Quakers by a final score of 29-0. The Blue Streaks held possession for the majority of the game, winning 29-of-32 face-ffs. Wilmington was outshot 70-3, freshman goalkeeper Cody Everly saved 14 of the 43 shots on goal.

Up next, Wilmington will travel to the University of Mount Union for a game Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
