WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team travels to Bethel College in West Virginia hoping to improve to 2-0 on the season.

The Teams: Wilmington and Bethany College. The Quakers are riding high after an opening game victory on the road against the Mt. St Joseph Lions. Bethany College dropped its season opener by a score of 14-8.

The Coaches: Wilmington has new leadership in the form of Head Coach Garyck Todd. The 2016 WC alumnus was a four-year member of the program and was a part of the team's first winning season (9-7) in 2015. He previously served as the head coach at Pickerington Central High School for the past three seasons. Ryan Hilyer enters his seventh season as the head coach in the 2021-22 season.

The Players: Austin Young has started his senior season off strong, scoring four goals at Mt. St. Joseph. Justen Shaw contributed three points and two assists in the opening day victory. Clay Yingling scored five times in Bethany College's losing effort against William Peace.
