WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team (2-7) will face the Polar Bears of Ohio Northern (5-2) on the road Wednesday at 7:00.

The Teams: Wilmington and Ohio Northern. Both teams are hoping for a positive start to OAC play after a bumpy non-conference schedule. 

The Coaches: Wilmington has new leadership in the form of Head Coach Garyck Todd. The 2016 WC alumnus was a four-year member of the program and was a part of the team's first winning season (9-7) in 2015. He previously served as the head coach at Pickerington Central High School for the past three seasons. Nat St. Laurent is in his seventh season as the head men's lacrosse coach at Ohio Northern University. He has guided the Polar Bears to six consecutive winning seasons and four straight Ohio Athletic Conference upper-division finishes.

The Players: Austin Young scored three times in Saturday's defeat to Heidelberg pushing his season total to 14. Justen Shaw scored twice bringing his goal total to 13. Ohio Northern sports a balanced attack with five players scoring eight or more goals this season. John Lynn leads the way with 11 goals scored.

Series History: Wilmington and Ohio Northern have faced off five times with the Polar Bears having the edge on the series 4-1.
