WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team (2-3) will travel to Hanover College (3-2) for a 3:30 p.m. game on Monday. 

The Teams: Wilmington and Hanover. Wilmington is 2-3 this season and have lost their last two games. Hanover College is 3-2 and lost its most recent game against Lake Forest College. 

The Coaches: Wilmington has new leadership in the form of Head Coach Garyck Todd. The 2016 WC alumnus was a four-year member of the program and was a part of the team's first winning season (9-7) in 2015. He previously served as the head coach at Pickerington Central High School for the past three seasons. Jeff Roberts enters his fourth season at the helm of the Hanover College men's lacrosse program. In his first three seasons, Roberts guided the program to a 22-16 overall record and a 12-4 mark in Conference action (2020 season was cut short due to Covid-19). The 2021 season saw Roberts lead the Panthers to the Tournament Championship for the second consecutive time under his leadership.

The Players: Justen Shaw and Austin Young share the team lead in goals scored at 10. Austin Bondurant has scored 12 points this season with eight goals and four assists. Hanover College boasts a balanced scoring attack with Josh Perkins, Dirk Meinhart and Owen Parker have all recorded 13 points this season.
