WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's soccer team looks to break three-game slump on Saturday as the Yellow Jackets of Baldwin Wallace University come to Williams Stadium for a 7 p.m. Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) contest on Saturday. 

The Teams: Wilmington and Baldwin Wallace. The Fightin' Quakers (6-5-0, 0-2-0) offense will need to get back on track Saturday as they have been held to just one goal in the past two games. The Yellow Jackets (5-6-0, 0-2-0) have lost its previous five matches and have scored just one goal in the past four matches.

The Coaches: Nick Kinder, a 2010 alumnus and four-year member of the men's soccer program, enters his first year as head women's soccer coach. He has spent the last four seasons as the program's top assistant coach including the last six weeks leading the program on an interim basis following the retirement of 30-year Head Coach Steve Spirk. He is just the fifth head coach in the 37-year history of the program as a varsity sport. Jim Wojtkun enters his sixth season as the head women's soccer coach at Baldwin Wallace University in 2022.  In his five seasons at the helm, the Yellow Jackets have won 48 games and have qualified for the OAC Tournament each year. 

The Players: Quaker freshman Shannon Jameison has done a bit of everything scoring five goals and dishing five assists. Fellow freshman Alex Wilson has also scored five goals. Sydney Rice has provided the bulk of the Yellow Jacket offense with seven goals this season.

Series History: Wilmington holds a 22-9-2 overall record against Baldwin Wallace, however, of the past ten games Baldwin Wallace has won six. More information on the series history can be viewed by visiting the link above.
