WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's soccer team hosts the Lions of Mount St. Joseph University for a 7 p.m. contest on Wednesday evening.

The Teams: Wilmington and Mt. St. Joseph. Wilmington is 4-2-0 after a weekend split with Wooster and Manchester. Mt. St. Joseph is 3-4 and currently riding a three game winning streak with wins over Asbury, Marietta and Berea colleges. 

The Coaches: Nick Kinder, a 2010 alumnus and four-year member of the men's soccer program, enters his first year as head women's soccer coach. He has spent the last four seasons as the program's top assistant coach including the last six weeks leading the program on an interim basis following the retirement of 30-year Head Coach Steve Spirk. He is just the fifth head coach in the 37-year history of the program as a varsity sport.

The Players: Shannon Jamieson has been a significant force for the Quakers this season scoring three goals to go along with three assists. Maura Carr scored what would be the deciding goal in the Quakers most recent match against Manchester. Goal keeper Lauren Galloway has recorded a shut out in each of Wilmingtons four victories this season. Mackenzie Schneeman, Kerigan Pollard and Layla Youtser have each scored two goals for the Lions.
