WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's basketball team continues non-conference play on Tuesday with a trip to Richmond, Indiana, and a date with Earlham College in the Quaker Bowl Rivalry game on Tuesday evening. Tip-off from Schuckman Court is slated for 7 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Earlham. The Fightin' Quakers are 3-2 on the season and looking to continue momentum after an 88-55 whipping of the College of Wooster before the Thanksgiving holiday. The Hustlin' Quakers are still in search of their first win after a 77-35 defeat at Kenyon College on Sunday.

The Coaches: Wilmington is under the direction of second-year Head Coach Janel Blankespoor, who is in her fourth season with the program having been interim coach during the 2020-21 season and the program's top assistant the two years prior. The 2007 Otterbein College alumna spent stints at Mount Union and Earlham College before coming to Wilmington. Shauna Thompson is in her first season as Earlham's head coach. She previously spent time as the lead assistant at both Illinois College and Bluffton University.

The Players: Wilmington features a balanced scoring attack as four Fightin' Quakers - Zahrya Bailey, Kyria Walker, Kennedy Lewis and Brooke Davis - score at least seven points per game. Bailey (19 points) and David (17 points) are coming off of career-highs in scoring in WC's win over Wooster on Tuesday. Lewis is the team's leading rebounder at 6.3 boards per 40 minutes and is joined by Bailey, Walker, Kenzie Campbell, Haley Cook and Jaylah Captain to assist on at least two baskets per game. Earlham is led by the duo of Amari Bradford and Janaiya Bright as the two score in double figures and combine for over 27 points per game. 

Tale of the Tape: Points per game – Wilmington 66.0, Earlham 59.8; opponents' points per game – Wilmington 63.3, Earlham 84.5; field goal percentage – Wilmington 41.1, Earlham 30.7; three-point percentage – Wilmington 30.0, Earlham 17.1; free throw percentage – Wilmington 56.7, Earlham 59.5; rebounding margin per game – Wilmington -1.0, Earlham -14.7; assist-to-turnover ratio – Wilmington 0.92, Earlham 0.60.
