WILMINGTON, Ohio - Baldwin Wallace University scored the game's first 10 goals in a 34-4 victory over the Wilmington College men's lacrosse team in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) action from Williams Stadium on Saturday.

The Yellow Jackets jumped out on top right away scoring the first ten goals in the game. The Fightin' Quakers allowed two different payers to score first quarter hat tricks as Ben Kubiak and Chad Steinwachs paved the way for BW taking a commanding 12-2 lead in the first. Wilmington would score its first two goals with just under two-and-a-half-minutes in the first quarter. Andrew Miller scored first giving life back to the hosts. A minute later, Jadon Flannery scored from long-distance for the second goal of the game.

Flannery would score the second in the first two minutes of the second quarter off of an assist from Conner Judge. That would prove to be the last goal scored for the Quakers until late in the third, when Eric Wathen broke through the Baldwin Wallace defense unassisted to score his first goal of the game in a man-up situation off a BW penalty. The Yellow Jackets would go on to score five more times to close out the fourth and hold the Quakers scoreless for the remainder of the game.

Drew Braden would be the lead scorer for BW as he finished with five goals and five assists, followed by a swarm of other Yellow Jackets scoring three or more goals in the game.

Read Beavers would finish the game with 14 saves, tying his season high for the year for the Quakers. BW held a 62-14 shots advantage as well as winning 35-of-42 face-offs.

Wilmington is now 2-8 overall and 0-4 in the OAC. The Quakers will head to Muskingum University(4-7, 0-4 OAC) on Wednesday. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
