Men's Lacrosse Faces W&J on the Road Saturday

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team continue its road swing this Saturday as the Fightin' Quakers take on Washington & Jefferson College (W&J) at 1 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and W&J. The Fightin' Quakers are currently 1-3 after dropping their last contest to Thiel College on Wednesday. The Presidents of W&J are currently 3-4 after beating Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) foe, Muskingum University, 13-9 at home.

The Coaches: Jeff Arneson is in his second year leading the Wilmington men's lacrosse program. Prior to leading the Quakers to a 5-9 record last season, Arneson, a Wilmington High School alumnus, spent six seasons as head coach at Thiel College (Pennsylvania). Kevin Kustron is in his fifth year at W&J, after a 7-10 record last year including six All-Conference players.

The Players: Four games in and Wilmington's Conner Judge continues to lead the team with 17 goals on 42 shots, for a 61.9 shots on goal percentage. Andrew Miller adds his six assists (team high) to his 54.4 shots on goal percentage to push the Fightin' Quakers as they continue their road stand. W&J is led by a trio of scorers as Alex Strain, Pat Brunner, and Benjamin Ward all carry over 13 goals apiece and combine for 16 assists, as they head into this weekend's contest.

Series History: Wilmington has not played W&J since the program began in 2011.
