WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team hosts Earlham College in the Quaker Bowl Rivalry on Saturday. First faceoff from Williams Stadium is scheduled for 1 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Earlham. The Fightin' Quakers are 0-2 on the season after falling 18-7 to Wabash College on Wednesday. The Hustlin' Quakers, who didn't win a game in 2018, opener their season with a 9-5 triumph at Anderson University on Wednesday.

The Coaches: Jeff Arneson is in his second year leading the Wilmington men's lacrosse program. Prior to leading the Quakers to a 5-9 record last season, Arneson, a Wilmington High School alumnus, spent six seasons as head coach at Thiel College (Pennsylvania). Jason Grace is leading Earlham into its second season of competition in 2019.

The Players: Connor Judge leads Wilmington offensively with seven goals and one assists for eight points. Jadon Flannery and Andrew Miller have both netted four goals while Mike Smith leads the squad in ground balls (13) and faceoffs won (24). Both Joel Dominguez and Blake Francis scored three goals for Earlham in its win at Anderson.

Series History: Wilmington defeated Earlham 21-0 in Richmond, Indiana, in the first meeting between the two years last season. More information on that game can be viewed by visiting the link above.

Quaker Bowl Rivalry: Prior to the 2017-18 academic year, the athletics departments of Earlham and Wilmington announced the re-creation of the Quaker Bowl. Originally a trophy for just football and men's basketball contests, the bowl is now competed for across all sports in which Earlham and Wilmington play each other. This year, Wilmington leads the bowl 5-3.
