Men's Lacrosse Opens OAC Play at ONU Saturday

SERIES HISTORY

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team opens Ohio Athletic Conference play at Ohio Northern University at 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

The Teams: Wilmington and Ohio Northern (ONU). The Fightin' Quakers at 1-4 on the season after falling in games against Presidents Athletic Conference (PAC) foes Thiel College and Washington & Jefferson College last week. The Polar Bears are 6-1 on the season having won their last six games including a 15-8 triumph over Wittenberg University on Tuesday.

The Coaches: Jeff Arneson is in his second year leading the Wilmington men's lacrosse program. Prior to leading the Quakers to a 5-9 record last season, Arneson, a Wilmington High School alumnus, spent six seasons as head coach at Thiel College (Pennsylvania). Nat St. Laurent began the ONU men's lacrosse program and is in his fourth season as the Polar Bears' head man.

The Players: Connor Judge and Andrew Miller are Wilmington's two top offensive threats as Judge has scored 17 goals and dished out three assists for a total of 20 points while Miller has scored seven goals and tallied as many assists for a total of 14 points. Cameron Marous leads ONU with 17 goals and 10 assists for a total of 27 points. Anthony Pavone and Nicholas Groves have also tallied double digits in goals.
