Boster Named OAC Pitcher of the Week

WESTERVILLE, Ohio - For the second time this season, Wilmington College baseball junior Aaron Boster has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Pitcher of the Week, the league announced on Monday, May 1.

Boster, a junior from Mason, broke a single-game Quaker record with 19 strikeouts in a 7-5 triumph over John Carroll University on Senior Day on Saturday. The Kings High School alumnus threw 128 pitches, 88 of them being strikes, and allowed four earned runs in the eight-inning outing. In the process, Boster broke his own single-season strikeouts record of 72, set last season.

Wilmington (16-21, 4-12 OAC) concludes the 2023 season at Otterbein University on Saturday. First pitch is slated for 1 p.m.
