WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College baseball team will face Ohio Wesleyan University and Mount St. Joseph University at Thomas More Stadium in Florence, Kentucky on Sunday.

The Schedule: The Quakers will face the Battling Bishops at 11 a.m. followed by the Lions on 2 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington, Ohio Wesleyan (OWU) and Mount St. Joseph (MSJ). The Quakers enter the weekend in search of their first victory of the season after dropping three games in Alabama over the weekend. The Battling Bishops are 1-0 on the season after an 8-0 victory over Bluffton University on Wednesday while the Lions too 3-of-4 from Asbury University to open their season at the Babe Howard Classic in late February.

The Coaches: Tony Vittorio, who formerly led the University of Dayton's baseball program for 18 seasons, is in his fifth season as Wilmington's head coach in 2023. He helped lead the Quakers to a 21-19 overall record last season. Tyler Mott is is in his 16th season as OWU's head coach while Jeff Newman has been MSJ's head coach for a decade.
