WESTERVILLE, Ohio - Wilmington College baseball junior Aaron Boster has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Pitcher of the Week for his performances over spring break last week.
The Mason native won both of his starts over the week and allowed just two earned runs in 13 innings while striking out 18 batters. Boster's first start came in the Quaker Bowl Rivalry series at Earlham College, a school that Wilmington had not beaten in a series in over a decade.
He won the second game of the series by striking out 10 in six innings and followed that up with a seven-inning shutout of Hiram College at home on Sunday.
Wilmington, which has won eight of its last nine games, stands at 8-7 on the season and heads to Asbury University for a single game on Tuesday evening.
