Men's Track & Field Travels to Wittenberg University for Indoor Season Opener

WILMINGTON, Ohio -  Wilmington men's track and field headlines the 2021-2022 indoor season at Wittenberg University. The Quakers are coming off of a successful cross country season, and hope to bring the same intensity for indoor. 

The Schedule: The day starts with throwing events at 11:00 AM followed by track events starting at 12:30. 

The Teams: The Quakers will face off against 10+  teams in the opener. 

The Coach: Ron Combs continues his 24th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

Who to Watch: Blake Jamison headlines the throwers as he looks to start the season off hot in shot put. Eric Reynolds has his eyes set on a stellar start in the 3000 meter run, an indoor only event.
