WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's track & field team heads to Alliance, Ohio for the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Indoor Championships hosted by Mount Union University. 

The Schedule: 

          DAY ONE: Field events start at noon with track events shooting off at 4:00 PM.

          DAY TWO: Field events start at 10:00 AM followed by track events at 2:30 PM.

The Teams: Wilmington will be joined by all OAC teams: Mount Union, Otterbein, Ohio Northern, Marietta, John Carroll, Muskingum, Capital, Baldwin Wallace and Heidelburg. 

The Coach: Ron Combs continues his 24th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

Who to Watch: Simon Heys is coming off of a personal best and school record setting weekend. Heys will toe the line the first day in the 5,000-meter run and come back day two for the 3,000-meter run. Joe Shuga and Blake Jamison will lead the throws squad with Shuga competing in both the weight throw and shot put while Jamison will compete in shot put.
