2022 WILMINGTON COLLEGE BASEBALL SCHEDULE

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College baseball program has released its schedule for the upcoming 2022 season. The schedule features 40 games that include the following:

• 18 home games
• 2 neutral-site games
• 20 road games
• 22 non-conference contests
• 18 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) contests

"Whenever we schedule outside league games, the thought would be to schedule games that will give us confidence headed into OAC play along with scheduling some teams that you might see in post season play," Head Baseball Coach Tony Vittorio said. "I feel that we accomplished this goal with our 2022 spring schedule. As always, we are excited to compete in the highly-competitive OAC season."

Wilmington opens its season with a trio of games in Carbondale, Illinois, on Feb. 19-20 before closing out the month with a trio of contests against Mount St. Joseph University on Feb. 26-27 which includes the home-opener for the Quakers at Tewksbury-Delaney Field on Feb. 27. The month of March begins at home with Bluffton University on March 1 before the annual Quaker Bowl Rivalry series in Richmond, Indiana, on March 5-6. A four-game homestand follows before Wilmington has four road games at Franklin College and at Asbury University. March closes with four home games including the OAC opener with Baldwin Wallace University on March 26.

April features mainly OAC play with home series against Capital University (April 12), the University of Mount Union (April 15) and Muskingum University (April 30). Two non-conference games at home with Berea College (April 5) and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (April 24) round out that portion of the schedule. The regular season finale, scheduled for May 7, is at Ohio Northern University.
