*Story by Andy Riesenberg

TIFFIN, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team lost its final game of the year at Heidelberg University on Saturday 15-8 despite landing a season-high number of goals in the back of the net.

Heidelberg's separation came in the second period as the Student Princes scored six goals to Wilmington's three, as they started to pull away. Another low scoring period came in the third as neither team could really gain any traction on the other. The final period resulted with Heidelberg outscoring Wilmington 4-2, and ending the game with a 15-8 final.

Jonathan Lokey for Wilmington led the way for both teams with five goals in the game.
