WESTERVILLE, Ohio - Abdul Kanu represented the Wilmington College men's basketball team's contingent on the All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) team as the unveiled its postseason awards on Thursday. The senior from Columbus garnered Honorable Mention All-OAC honors.
Kanu led the Quakers in scoring at 13.3 points per contest and was third on the squad in rebounding at 4.5 boards per game. He started 24 of a possible 25 games and scored in double figures all but six games. Kanu crossed the 20-point plateau a half-dozen times including a 25-point performance in an 82-74 triumph over Kenyon College on Nov. 19.
A three-year member of the program, Kanu finished his career with 811 points and 302 rebounds in 73 career contests.
Wilmington finished its 2022-23 season with an 8-17 record including a 4-14 mark in OAC contests.
