WILMINGTON, Ohio- The Wilmington College women's outdoor track and field team heads to the All-Ohio Outdoor Track and Field Championship hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday, April 14. Competition is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m.

The Coach: Ron Combs enters his 17th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

WC Student-Athletes to Watch: The Quakers are coming off of a second-place finish at the Jenna Strong Invitational. The throwers are leading the charge, Lauren Stacy took first in every throwing event. She is backed by teammate Kayli Sullivan who also placed top-three in the throwing events at last week's meet. Emma Burke leads the team on the track, specifically in the hurdling events, but also plays an integral role on the relays. Allison Helmke demonstrated her skill in the steeplechase this past weekend and will look to continue improving.
