Williams Stadium, which features both Townsend Field and Beckett Track, is the home of Fightin' Quaker football, men's soccer, women's soccer, men's lacrosse, men's track & field and women's track & field programs. During the fall season, the cheerleading squad also cheers in the stadium. Townsend Field received a face lift in the form of brand new turf in the summer of 2020. The turf is a 24-7 slim film system installed by The Motz Group out of Cincinnati. A Schmitz Proplay 20 shock attenuation underlayment pad below the turf aids in the reduction of concussions. New goal posts and an end zone stop safety net are also brand new. |

Alongside hosting several NAIA Playoff games in the 1980s under Head Coach Bill Ramseyer, Williams Stadium has also been utilitized in the professional ranks. From 1968-96, the Cincinnati Bengals hosted their training camp at Wilmington College. Townsend Field was featured heavily during those weeks the Bengals were on campus. |
